Hiking the Y

Jordan and I made a goal after our extended honeymoon (and the associated weight gain) that we should probably become more active, healthy people. We started getting out to the track to run, and after a few goes of that, decided we were ready to hike the Y!

We have never been so wrong.

It actually wasn't that bad. The Y has lots of opportunities for rest stops (quite a few of which we took advantage of), and isn't actually a very long hike. We made it to the lower corner of the Y (in part because we actually are that lame, but perhaps in larger part because I hadn't hiked to the bottom of the Y before) with all of our limbs still attached and without sparking any heart attacks.

Here's hoping it gets better every time! With the move we had a bit of trouble making time to get back up the mountain, but we're hoping to get back soon (...as well as back to the track / an equivalent. We're a bit father away now, so we may have to find a replacement).
Gettin' mah stretch on.

Wore my "Light the Y With Honor" T-shirt. It seemed appropriate.

Love the Provo skyline!

Proof that Jordan was on the hike as well

Jordan claims to have wanted this picture to show me in the whole hiking atmosphere. I'm still convinced that he wanted a picture that made me look like I was always this far behind him.
